How to Sublet Guide

MA Agreement to Sublease/Sublet

If you are subletting your space, complete this agreement to obligate your sublessee to you. First, however, confirm with your lease and landlord that you can sublet. Your landlord has the right to approve any sublessee, though their approval must be based on a financial assessment rather than discriminatory factors. Some landlords charge a fee to allow their tenants to sublet—this is legal.
